Community Based Victim Assistance

Serving men, women and children victims of sexual assault, spousal assault, adult survivors of sexual assault, criminal harassment/stalking, child sexual abuse and children who witness abuse.

Provide a safe, free service to victims in a non-judgmental manner and respecting confidentiality
Provide emotional support
Provide practical support
- transportation/accompaniment to appointments
- court orientation/accompaniment
- completing forms such as victim impact statements
- liaison with personnel within the criminal justice system
Provide information about the justice system, court proceedings and case status
Provide referrals to other supportive agencies.
